Top Gear, all day, every day

I've been marathoning Top Gear and I've got to say, it's one of the best shows on television right now. I'm not a car fanatic at all, but Jeremy, Richard, and James make it so interesting and funny that I can't help but love this show.

I just saw the special where they went to the U.S., and it was absolutely hilarious. Driving through rural Alabama with "MAN-LOVE IS OK" and "COUNTRY AND WESTERN IS RUBBISH" painted on the side of your car is tops.

Britain, I am jealous of your television programs.

Fandom!

So, do you guys consider yourselves part of any fandoms? You know, shipping, reading fics, hording fanart; that sort of thing.

I like loads of shows/books/what-have-you, but I think I'd only really consider myself part of the Touhou, Hetalia (pic related!), and, well, Harry Potter fandoms. Not that I haven't saved loads of fic/art or don't ship characters from other things, mind you. The list of fandoms I've ever been involved in would be pretty long, but those three are fandoms that I always seem to fall back to. I think it's the huge cast of characters; there are so many different characters to explore that the fandoms don't get boring.

So what about you guys?

Nendoroid Miku

I'm totally on the fence about the new Nendoroid Miku: Absolute HMO. I've never owned a Nendoroid, so part of me wants to have one just for the sake of having one. And Miku is absolutely adorable. On the other hand, I'm not sure what to do with them. They're cute, yeah, but is that enough to justify the price tag?

The one great thing the new Miku Nendoroid has going for it is that it is articulated, as compared to the normal "just switch out the parts to pose it" Nendos. You can see her joints in the pic.

AmiAmi has her up for preorder for 2970 yen, for those of you interested.

Belle is the Perfect Disney Waifu

I'm sure those of you who haven't exited out of this tab are wondering why, exactly, Belle is the ultimate Disney waifu. Why, it's simple, dear reader:

1) She likes to read and stay indoors, perfect for the recluse
2) She rebuffs the King Douche, Gaston; she is a pure waifu
3) She ran away from wolves, so obviously she can run away from any men attempting to soil her purity
4) She doesn't care about looks!

Need I say more?

But really, all of the Disney Princesses are moe except Cinderella

Figutto Reimu v. Figma Reimu

So my order for Figutto Reimu went through at AmiAmi, and she's just shipped. Hopefully she doesn't get lost in SAL hell.

I'm actually very excited for the Figutto line, although initially I was concerned about the hideous kneecaps on their first figure. The Touhou line, though, is incredible so far. It's much larger than the figma line, allowing for greater detail, and rumor has it that they are much more sturdy than figma, as well.

And honestly? I think she's better looking. For comparison, here's the Figutto and the Figma.

The Figutto looks less MOE KAWAII DESU~, and more sophisticated, I think. And the bigger size is a great bonus.

I just hope they make a Patchouli figure. I need an articulated Patchouli to guard my bookcase.

Pokemon B&W

It's been exceptionally difficult for me to not download the B&W rom and just play  it before it's official American release, but I think it'll be worth it. I'd like to enjoy it with all of its twists and surprises brand new to me.

I'll have to content myself with just replaying Heartgold, I suppose. Although I wouldn't be surprised if everything was spoiled for me by the internet.
